In October of 2023, Dr. Fabrice Marandola invited Dr. Michael Schutz and MAPLE lab graduate students to the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT) at McGill University following the 2023 Canadian Acoustics Week conference in Montreal. At their hemi-anechoic laboratory room, they recorded high fidelity recordings of various triangles from different materials, sizes and brands for acoustical analysis.
Our goal is to have a publicly available archive of high quality recordings of musical instruments for anyone to listen and make informed decisions. Here, our archive begins with a varied selection of triangles, as recordings of specific brands, materials, types and sizes are scarce including high quality recordings with different microphone types that can be used for acoustical analysis.

The Google Sheet below contains the raw audio files of each triangle sound event with detailed information of each triangle and microphones used. There are three different sheets:
- Recordings of each triangle tone
- Details of the triangle themselves
- Details of each microphone used for the recording
